This year’s Festival builds on past successes with events taking place across our town from 1-10 July. There will be free parking on the Green for several events – check specific event details at What’s On.
Our launch week will begin on Saturday 25 June in the High Street. Come and enjoy the entertainment. Visit our information desk at the Town Hall Undercroft, for all you need to know about our events. Our theme this year is Royalty, to tie in with the Queen’s 90th year.

Main events include: Grand Parade, Free for all on the Green, Pop in the Park, Great Hythe Rotary Raft Race, Military Canal Bank Concert with fireworks, Teddy Bears’ Picnic, Flower Show and Art Show, Festival of Words, Open Day at the Ranges and Redoubt Tour, High Street Hallabaloo, St Leonard’s Concerts and NEW for this festival, Seafront Spectacular, Comedy Night and Shakespeare in the Park.
